This elegant holiday home occupies a prime position on the fringes of Rock, set between North Cornwall’s rugged coast and lush countryside. The pet-friendly property welcomes ten guests across four gorgeous bedrooms, and makes the perfect base for groups of friends and families holidaying together. Rock boasts a great range of boutiques and artisan shops, along with independent restaurants and cosy pubs. After a potter around the shops, head down to the glorious beach. The sandy, 1-mile stretch of shoreline provides ample space for everyone, even in the height of summer, and the calm, clear waters are perfect for bathing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. As expected, the area is a paradise for walkers, with easy access to the South West Coast Path and footpaths leading to stunning beaches such as Polzeath and Daymer Bay. For keen golfers, the famous links course at St Enodoc is just 0.5 miles away.

The chic home-away-from-home is decorated in a contemporary style, with neutral paintwork and natural textures acting as a backdrop for striking pieces of furniture and vibrant accessories. The main living space is a bright and inviting lounge/kitchen/diner with wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out across the Cornish countryside. The kitchen area features a large breakfast bar for informal dining, along with all the equipment needed for a self-catering holiday. Come together around the large wooden table (with a mix of bench seating and chairs) for family mealtimes, before retiring to the cosy lounge area to chat long into the night in the glow of the wood burner. Alternatively, head through to the main lounge for a movie night in front of the Smart TV. A refreshing shower room and a utility room round off the ground floor. All four delightful bedrooms are upstairs. The first is a master super-king-size bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe, dressing table, seating area, Smart TV, and en-suite shower room. Next is a king-size bedroom with plenty of storage, countryside views, and an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom is a twin room, and the final bedroom has two sets of bespoke bunk beds. A family bathroom with an indulgent free-standing bath completes the accommodation.

Outside, marvel at the far-reaching rural views from comfortable outdoor seating on the patio. From here, a few steps lead down to an enclosed lawn where children and dogs can play. There’s also a picnic bench for al fresco dining. The property has private parking for three cars.

Everything was finished to an incredibly high standard. The bathrooms were fab and bed was super comfortable. We loved the map in the hallway so we could plan adventures! It was the perfect base for us.
