The property is part of an exclusive development in the sweet hamlet of Penmayne, on the edge of Rock, a popular coastal village. Here you will find a wide variety of friendly pubs and restaurants, with the secluded beach at Porthilly Cove just a mile away. Rock Beach is 1.5 miles away, along the Camel Estuary – from here a foot ferry can take you across to Padstow (2.5 miles), a vibrant harbour town with some fabulous seafood restaurants. Heading north along the coast there are some gorgeous beaches to discover – Polzeath, Greenaway Beach and Daymer Bay are all within 2.5 miles. Port Isaac (8 miles) and Tintagel (14 miles) are also within easy reach.
A gentle ramp leads up to the front door and into this bright and cheerful single-level retreat. Inside you will be immediately greeted by the spacious coastal-themed open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a high vaulted and beamed ceiling and large windows allowing natural light to flood in. The pretty lounge has a Smart TV and sumptuous seating, with a fantastic dining area over to one side. Occupying a corner, the stylishly arranged kitchen is thoughtfully organised and fully equipped, with plenty of storage space and a useful breakfast bar. When it’s time to turn in for the night you will have a choice of three bedrooms: a charming bunk bedroom, a twin and a contemporary king-size room which has its own en-suite shower room. The accommodation also features an elegant bathroom with a separate bath and shower.
Stepping outside, the sheltered sundeck to the rear provides a lovely spot for everyone to unwind in, with ample seating and a BBQ. To the front there’s a lawn with space for younger guests to play. There’s also a handy wetsuit rail and outdoor shower, with parking available for two cars.
