Lying within the tranquil grounds of a peaceful farm estate, this fresh and inviting bungalow is surrounded by acres of delightful woodlands and grounds, making a relaxing holiday retreat for six guests. To the west, the cheerful village of Rock (1 mile) has a choice of fantastic pubs and restaurants and is home to the beautiful Rock Beach and the secluded Porthilly Cove. This part of North Cornwall is perfect for water sports fans: Rock has a sailing and water-skiing club, and nearby Polzeath (4 miles) is a popular surfing destination. From the pontoon in Rock a boat trip will take you out to spot some of the local bird and wildlife, or you can cross the river by foot ferry to Padstow (3 miles), renowned for its seafood restaurants. Bodmin Jail Attraction, Pencarrow House and Garden, and Camel Creek Family Adventure Park are all within 12 miles.

Located along a sweeping, tree-lined driveway, a few steps lead down and into this warm and inviting single-level hideaway. Inside, the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner provides a fabulous space for you all to get together and unwind after a wonderful day discovering North Cornwall. The room features characterful slate flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows allowing light to flood through. The pretty lounge has a TV with comfortable seating and a snug wood burner, while the dining table is centrally positioned with a picturesque view over the gardens. The sleek and thoughtfully arranged kitchen is fully equipped, with a useful breakfast bar and plenty of worktops and storage space. Exploring this beautifully decorated and tastefully furnished bungalow further you will have a choice between four fresh and airy bedrooms: a cheerful single, a pretty twin, a lovely double and an elegant en-suite super-king-size room, all with ample storage space and views of the woodland or the estuary. The property also features a utility room and an invigorating shower room with a shower and WC, alongside a separate additional WC.

Heading outside, there are a couple of charming patio areas with garden furniture, a charcoal BBQ, perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. The extensive landscaped gardens are perfect for picnics and games. Guests are welcome to explore the surrounding acres of shared woodland and enjoy a game of tennis on the shared courts. At low tide three shipwrecks can be seen in the cove. Please note the back lawn is reached via nine steep steps. Parking is available for two cars.

Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable and spacious, especially as only the 2 of us! We came for 5 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a fantastic time! We love the area, beaches, shops, eating.everything and it lived up to our expectations. We will return and have already booked a larger property at Cant Farm to come with friends in JRead moreune. We had such a great week in Rock, in your lovely cottage. The house, gardens and grounds were immaculate and the overall management by Latitude 50, first class. The house was exceedingly well appointed and the beds so comfortable, we slept like logs!
