The property lies in a quiet spot just north of Polzeath, a popular coastal village with a gorgeous surfing beach. Immediately to the north, the dramatic National Trust-owned Pentire Headland offers some spectacular views, perfect for spotting birds including fulmars, linnets and guillemots. The headland makes a great base for long coastal rambles, rock-pooling, sea kayaking and coasteering. Following the coast path to the north-east, you can visit beautiful seaside villages including Port Isaac, Tintagel and Bossiney Cove, all within 15 miles. The path also heads south-west to Rock (3 miles), where you can take the foot ferry to the vibrant port of Padstow (4 miles).
Entering the house, a welcoming entrance hall leads you through into the spacious, airy and elegantly arranged open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This fantastic space is perfect for relaxing in after a great day out exploring the Cornish coast, with bifold doors allowing ample light to stream in. The stylish lounge has sumptuous seating and a TV, while the central dining table has plenty of space for everyone to enjoy a family meal together. The fully equipped kitchen is to the rear, with a breakfast bar and lots of storage and workspace. Exploring the ground floor further, there’s a utility room and a useful shower room. Heading upstairs, the inviting landing leads along to four restful bedrooms. The first is a relaxing king-size room with a stylish en-suite shower room and a large picture window set in a low sloping ceiling. There are also two pretty twin rooms and a delightful super-king-size room. The first floor is rounded off with a bright and refreshing bathroom.
Bifold doors lead out from the lounge into the enclosed garden which has a lawn offering plenty of space for younger guests to run around. The patio has a charcoal BBQ and ample outdoor furniture, providing a great spot for sitting out with a drink and dining alfresco on a sunny summer’s day. There’s also a useful outdoor heated shower and parking for up to three cars.
