Offering light and stylish holiday accommodation for four adults and up to two younger children, this charming hideaway is perfectly positioned for discovering the tranquil village of Rock and the surrounding countryside and sandy beaches of a magical part of Cornwall. Rock offers a choice of fantastic restaurants and friendly pubs, with two beautiful beaches: Porthilly Cove (0.5 miles) and Rock Beach (1 mile). A foot ferry will take you across the River Camel to the vibrant port of Padstow (2 miles), famous for its seafood restaurants. Heading along the coast from Rock, there are some wonderful beaches nearby including Daymer Bay, Greenaway and Polzeath (all within 2.5 miles). Meanwhile walkers can explore the Pentire Headland or take the coastal path to Tintagel (14 miles). Also within easy reach are the Bodmin Jail Attraction, Camel Creek Family Adventure Park and Pencarrow House and Gardens, all within 13 miles.

A sweeping private driveway with mature trees and shared lawns heads down to the property. Inside, the welcoming hallway leads through to a sleek and beautifully organised kitchen with ample storage space, worktops and equipment, perfect for rustling up your favourite dishes. A pair of western-style wooden swing gates then take you through to the bright and appealing lounge/diner with light streaming in via the sash windows and glass door at the far end. The lounge has a Smart TV and plush seating, with a wooden dining table over to one side. The ground floor also has an additional WC. Going upstairs, the first floor offers a sweet bathroom and two cheery bedrooms: a delightful double room with a bay window and en-suite shower room, and a charming bunk bedroom suitable for younger guests. Please note the lower bunk is made up as standard – please request the top bunk when booking if required. A second staircase goes up and directly into the fresh and snug bedroom occupying the second floor. Beautifully decorated in tasteful relaxing shades and featuring a large skylight in the low sloping ceiling, this cosy space features a lovely super-king-size bed and a refreshing en-suite shower room.

From the lounge, a step leads down into the bright and cheery garden which is fully enclosed, with a pretty lawn and a patio with outdoor furniture and a BBQ, providing a relaxing spot to unwind in on a sunny summer’s day. Guests can also head through to the shared boules lawn and take part in a game. There’s secure outdoor storage and parking spaces for two cars.

Beautiful family home in a great location in a lovely part of Cornwall. Stones throw from the shops and the best fish and chips in rock! 5 minute walk to the beach and the mariners pub. Don't hesitate to book a stay!

First impressions of this lovely holiday let we're that of total surprise! It was so homely and nice and warm for our arrival. The goodies in the cotton bag we're super. (I won't say what as I don't want to spoil the surprise ... ) although the downstairs is small, it is deceptive. Plenty of space for 4 adults plus 2 children and of course, a dog.Read more Bedrooms very comfortable. Ensuites an added bonus. The 3rd floor bedroom was a nice hideaway! Which also had an ensuite. All beds comfortable. Hide
