The soft sands of Polzeath Beach are less than half a mile away, particularly popular with surfers. Polzeath also offers a range of other water sports including kayaking, coasteering, wild swimming and boat trips. From Polzeath the South West Coast Path leads down past Greenaway Beach and Daymer Bay to Rock (2 miles), a picturesque village with a foot ferry service across the River Camel to the bustling fishing port of Padstow, famous for its magnificent seafood restaurants (3 miles).
Entering this fabulous holiday getaway, the inviting hallway leads you along, with a couple of steps leading down into the spacious open-plan lounge/diner. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the light-filled lounge is a wonderful space to unwind in, with sumptuous seating, a roaring wood burner and a Smart TV. The elegantly arranged dining table is perfect for hosting special family get-togethers, and leads straight into the beautifully organised and fully equipped kitchen. From the kitchen, a couple of steps lead up into a snug cinema room with a large Smart TV and plenty of seating for a movie night. The ground floor also features a utility room and a shower room. Heading upstairs, the landing takes you along to four light and elegant bedrooms all decorated in cool coastal shades. You will have a choice between two cosy twin rooms, a charming double and a stylish king-size room which has its own en-suite shower room. Both the double and king-size rooms have a Smart TV. The first floor also features a refreshing bathroom with a shower over the bath. Please note some of the first-floor rooms have low sloping ceilings.
From the lounge, sliding glass doors open out into the relaxing back garden. Here, you will find a sweet patio with outdoor furniture, offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco using the charcoal BBQ. To one side, there’s a soothing hot tub for you to luxuriate in after a fantastic day’s exploring. The garden also has a small lawn going across to a garden room with a table football set. To the front of the property is a lovely sun deck, which can be reached from the cinema room, and has further seating, ideal for sitting out in the evening with a quiet drink. Parking is available for one large car or two smaller cars, and there’s also a handy outside shower and wetsuit hanging rail.
