Making a fabulous base for eager walkers, beach lovers and water sports fans, this light-filled and tastefully furnished townhouse offers cosy accommodation for up to six guests, perfect for families and friends enjoying a well-earned break. The property sits at the end of a terrace, just a few doors from a friendly pub, and opposite the Rock Sailing and Waterski Club. Rock’s beautiful beach is just a short stroll westwards, and golfers can head to the St Enodoc Golf Club (both within 500 metres). Heading along the coast, further beaches include Daymer Bay, Greenaway and the surfers’ haven of Polzeath, all within 3 miles. Catching a foot ferry from Rock you can cross the River Camel to visit the bustling port of Padstow (1 mile) and its fantastic seafood restaurants. Also nearby are Pentireglaze, Pencarrow House and Garden, and Camel Creek Family Adventure Park, all within 14 miles.

Entering this bright and friendly property, head up the stairs to the first floor which features the airy, tastefully furnished open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, the bright and cheery lounge is an ideal space to unwind in, with ample seating, a Smart TV and access to both a Juliet balcony and a lovely balcony with seating which offers a wonderful view towards the estuary. There’s also a handsome central dining table and a fresh, thoughtfully arranged kitchen. Returning to the ground floor, the first bedroom is a cute double, and there’s also a useful utility room with plenty of extra kitchen equipment, alongside an invigorating shower room. Heading up to the second floor, you will find a refreshing bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. This floor also has the two remaining bedrooms: a cheery twin with a large skylight set in the low sloping ceiling; and a spacious king-size room with access to two sweet balconies, each with seating and beautiful views over the Camel Estuary.

Outside, there’s a small garden just over the road featuring a picnic bench and magnificent views towards the estuary. Parking is available for up to two cars.

The location is amazing, we were lucky to have great weather and the views were stunning. The property is comfortable and well-equipped. Parking is a real bonus.The welcome hamper was a nice touch. It is a short distance to the ferry to Padstow, so very convenient. Although generally clean, there was dust on some surfaces and cobwebs. The winRead moredows and outside areas were dirty also and needed some attention. However, we had a great time and I would recommend. Hide

Location great, hamper was a nice touch. General clean was done but needs a deep clean, had cobwebs around the shower and downstairs bedroom had cobwebs and mould. Flagged to the managing agent so hopefully they resolve before the next stay.

The location of this property is fantastic, the views are beautiful and the parking space is a bonus.. The kitchen is well equipped and the living/dining area is well set out. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Lovely week at 1 Slipway. Beautiful every changing views in all weathers. Watched the sunset the bedroom balcony. So easy to just cross the road and go paddleboarding.
