Situated in a charming spot in the picturesque village of Trebetherick, this cheery, light and welcoming retreat makes a wonderful holiday home for up to eight guests. Featuring a choice of fabulous places to eat and drink, the village is a great base for keen walkers, beach lovers, nature watchers and water sports fans, with a range of activities available nearby including yoga, surfing and golf. The gorgeous beaches at Rock, Polzeath, Greenaway and Daymer Bay are all within 1.5 miles, or you can head north to explore the magnificent Pentire Headland and its stunning sea views (2 miles). From Rock, a foot ferry will take you over the River Camel to the lively port of Padstow (3 miles), known for its working harbour and seafood restaurants. Tintagel Castle, Pencarrow House and Gardens, and the Bodmin Jail Attraction are all within 15 miles.

Entering this welcoming hideaway, the cheerful entrance hall leads through to the large and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With a high vaulted ceiling and light streaming in through the French doors, this is a wonderful space for everyone to unwind in. The elegantly furnished lounge features a Smart TV, plush seating and a beautiful wood burner, with a central dining table perfect for family meals which you can rustle up in the smartly organised and fully equipped kitchen occupying the corner. When it’s time for bed, the ground floor hosts three of the property’s four fresh and tasteful bedrooms: a cheery twin room and two calming super-king-size rooms (one with a Smart TV and one with an en-suite shower room and doors leading onto the patio). Exploring the ground floor further, there’s an invigorating shower room and a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a further shower room. Finally, a stylish wooden staircase winds up from the lounge to the first floor which houses a spacious bedroom with a lovely super-king-size bed, ample storage space, a Smart TV and a beautiful en-suite bathroom.

From the lounge sliding glass doors lead out into a sweet courtyard with a table and chairs, providing a perfect spot for everyone to get together and dine alfresco. Round the corner, the charming south-facing garden has a further patio with plenty of seating alongside a lovely lawn. There’s also an outdoor shower, a BBQ and off-road parking for two cars.

The house here is wonderful - really tastefully decorated and furnished with high quality fittings, bedding, appliances etc. It feels like you really care and want guests to have a lovely time. A gem of a house love Flos deli/store too! Wed love to return.
