Located on a quiet residential street in the Devon village of Beer, this family seaside home is a wonderful spot for a family holiday, with sea views from its main bedroom. This retreat is a really enchanting space for a well-deserved break with your loved ones. You’ll be just 500 metres from Beer Beach, a sheltered shingle cove with cafés and deckchairs for hire – a lovely spot for family days by the sea. The village is part of the stunning Jurassic Coast and sits roughly 2 miles from Seaton and 3 miles from Branscombe Beach, known for its dramatic cliffs and scenic location. For family-friendly adventures, bundle everyone in the car to Crealy Theme Park & Resort (14 miles). The city of Exeter (26 miles) is a fab option if you fancy an urban day out.

This light, bright holiday home has been thoughtfully decorated and designed, with modern interiors and a seaside-themed décor throughout. On the welcoming ground floor, you have a cosy lounge that opens to a front garden via French doors. At the back of the house is a generously sized kitchen/dining area with bi-fold doors out to the raised al fresco deck. This space has a kitchen peninsula and a breakfast table with chair and benches for relaxing, plus a large skylight letting in plenty of daylight. There’s also a utility room and a separate WC. Upstairs are three cheerful bedrooms: one double and a children's bunk, both with sea views, and one twin room, all sharing a family bathroom with a shower over a bath.

Outside, the raised deck (complete with dining table and chairs) is just the ticket for communal meals, and there’s a gas BBQ for open-air cooking. From this vantage, you’ll also enjoy views across rooftops to open fields beyond – a lovely spot to unwind and soak up the coastal mood.

Lovely house to stay in, really enjoyed the space and the location, and was spotlessly cleaned prior to our arrival. Two minute walk into the village, same for the beach, which is immaculately clean. Locals are very friendly and helpful, and most of the enjoy a bit of a chit chat. Good weather was a bonus too. Hike over to Branscombe on the SW CoasRead moret path, a nice climb and stunning views - about two miles each way. Plenty of trips relatively locally too, try Burrow Farm gardens, if you are into flora and fauna along with stunning Devon views, spend a few hours here. It is 13 each to get in but worth it. Lyme Regis not a bad place for a day out and you can stretch your legs along the Prom for a mile or so. Make sure you have a meal at Gina's restaurant in Beer village, if you can get a booking, great place to eat! Fresh fish and lobster etc available every morning at the village harbour on the slope to the beach - so fresh and high quality too. Hide

The cottage was light and airy . The sun came in all day. The views were lovely. The location very good with no passing traffic and walking distance to the beach.
