Enjoying breathtaking mountain and sea views, this cosy former crofter's cottage, located in a quiet spot on the outskirts of Gairloch, offers couples and families the perfect base for exploring Wester Ross and the North West Highlands. The quiet coastal community of Big Sand is just 4.5 miles from the village of Gairloch, which is located on the shores of Loch Gairloch, amongst the enchanting scenery of Wester Ross. Answer the call of the coast at Big Sand Beach (2 miles), which boasts towering dunes to explore and delightful views of the mountains of Skye and Torridon. The secluded beach of Red Point, 16.5 miles away, offers a wide expanse of unique red/pink sand and plenty of rock pools to explore. Peruse the local produce in the shops in the village centre of Gairloch or stroll through the National Trust’s tropical gardens of Inverewe, 11 miles away.

Tucked beneath the eaves with charming sloping ceilings, the double bedroom and twin bedroom provide a haven of tranquillity to retire to.

A beautiful cottage with the best views of the sea and mountains. Its a really cosy place. Its also a great base for walks and all sorts of excursions. We had a lovely stay. Thank you very much!

A wonderful cottage, full of character, very reasonably priced for such great accommodation, extremely comfortable beds and absolutely pristine when we arrived. And the views were to die for. Well be back!
