Set in an enviable position on Flamborough Head, this attractive retreat enjoys astounding views over farmland and a golf course towards the old lighthouse and sea. Sleeping six guests, the three‑bedroom hideaway is just 500 metres from Flamborough Lighthouse, cafe and Selwick’s Bay, with its many rockpools. North Landing Beach, popular for kayaking and paddleboarding, is 3 miles away by car but also walkable along the cliff tops. Step straight out from the house to enjoy exceptional coastal walks: head into Flamborough along the cliffs, past North Landing and Thornwick Bay, all the way up to Bempton Cliffs. Along the coast, seals, porpoises and dolphins can often be spotted, and the local seal colony makes its home by the famous Drinking Dinosaur rock formation. Lace up your boots and follow footpaths for 6 miles to vibrant Bridlington, passing the lovely Danes Dyke Nature Reserve. Bridlington itself is perfect for family days out, with traditional seaside amusements and sandy beaches for bucket‑and‑spade afternoons. Plan an excursion to Scarborough (20 miles), with its colourful attractions and castle, or head just 4 miles to Sewerby Hall and Gardens to explore the grounds and zoo.

Tear yourselves away from the views and step into the holiday home at ground‑floor level. Head through to the elegant lounge, where a bay window floods the space with natural light, the perfect spot to chat about your day, play a game together, or enjoy a film on the Smart TV. Alternatively, wander into the conservatory to continue soaking up the scenery and enjoy a quiet moment while gazing out over the fields beyond the garden. When it’s time to prepare a delicious meal, the kitchen offers everything you need, while the dining room provides a welcoming space to gather, or you can carry your plates outside into the sunshine. A family shower room and one of the twin bedrooms are also downstairs; this bedroom includes a TV and DVD player to keep youngsters entertained. Upstairs, you’ll find the second twin bedroom with en‑suite WC, alongside the double bedroom which benefits from the luxury of an en‑suite shower room.

Lose yourselves in the magnificent surroundings as you savour the sea air out in the garden. Pour a sundowner, take in the open landscape, and chat around the outdoor table as the stars appear in the clear night skies. Off‑road parking is available for three cars.

Perfect location and all the equipment youd possibly need! The garden was amazing, we played boules, we set up a pickle ball net and the lads practiced their golf chilling, all whilst our cocker spaniel chased his ball and ran around, so much space!! Just across from the golf course so a round was inevitable, and a lovely walk to the lighthouseRead more! A perfect family break, would thoroughly recommend! Hide

Beautifully clean and well-equipped cottage, probably the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Location is stunning and so relaxing, would love to stay again at Home Bay.

A lovely cottage with spectacular views in a peaceful location, ideally situated for exploring the surrounding area. The grandchildren loved the big garden & watching the seals & birds just down from the lighthouse. Would definately recommend & hope to be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage, the back garden was great for our 2 year old great grandson. Can say no more other than we have booked again for a September break

Second time we stayed at Home Bay, beautiful views and very peaceful. A short walk down to the lighthouse and the seals or a short drive to RSPB Bempton to see the Puffins and other sea birds. York is only an hour away with excellent park and ride facilities or closer you have Filey and other coastal towns.
