Set on the edge of the historic market town of Ledbury, this characterful retreat is perfect for families and groups of friends seeking a mix of countryside adventures, comforting eateries, and easy-going afternoons. Explore black-and-white timber-framed streets, independent shops, and cosy cafes in Ledbury (4.5 miles), before heading to the Malvern Hills (12.5 miles) for an excellent range of rambling routes and the Victorian spa town of Malvern. For even more walking, cycling and canoeing opportunities, the Wye Valley is a mere 8.5 miles away. There's also a selection of fine restaurants and country inns for memorable meals out together. With Hereford, Worcester, and Gloucester all within easy reach, and a train station just a short walk away for stress-free trips further afield, this is an ideal base for groups to explore and unwind.

As you enter this magnificent property, you'll step straight into a welcoming library, which is incredibly inviting with its antique wood burner, stacks of bookshelves, and a piano you can sing along to. From here, you can access the lounge, which serves as the heart of the home during your stay. This characterful room boasts exposed beams, comfy furniture and a Smart TV. If everyone fancies watching a movie, you can always snuggle up in front of the cinema projector screen in the children's play area – which also includes table football. The dining room is fit for royal banquets, while just off this space, the kitchen is light and airy, with a warming Redfyre AGA and everything you need for a self-catered stay. Finishing this floor is a bright breakfast room, a charming double bedroom, and a shower room. Up on the first floor, uncover five uniquely decorated bedrooms, including three king-size rooms, and one double bedroom with adjoining bunk room making the perfect family suite. A well-appointed family bathroom and en-suite shower room complete this floor. The final bedroom awaits up on the second floor: a restful double room with its own en-suite shower room.

Unwind out in the enclosed rear garden where a large hot tub and BBQ provide nights of bubbles and laughter. Gather around the table for al fresco feasts and watch as the kids run about on the play equipment. Guests will also benefit from ample parking to the front of the property.

Absolutely fabulous cottage for a group of friends! It was incredible, with everything you could need and more. The big garden and hottub was the highlight! Small touches like robes in each room went down a treat too. Great communication from the owners too, thank you!

The house is beautiful and most of the bedrooms are lovely. The suite is just too wonky! The bedroom downstairs is a bit stark with no facilities attached. I felt the little tiny dining area downstairs outside the bedroom could be a shower and toilet, then the room would feel more like a suite.

Ideal space for us, with plenty of rooms to accommodate the different activities. Bedrooms were nicely spaced out across the accommodation to satisfy everyones needs, especially the on-suite options. Kitchen was a good size , enough to house cooks and prep team so plenty of interaction was possible, as well as the much needed thirst quenching, glasRead mores or two of wine. A good time was had by all. Hide
