Set on the north-east coast of the Isle of Wight, this beautiful and spacious home blends original features with modern comforts for a splendid seaside stay with friends and family. The small Edwardian resort of Seaview (centre 0.5 miles away) boasts some of the island’s most impressive architecture and offers a perfect base for your group adventures; life here is slow-paced, the local shops, pubs and cafes deliver a personal service, and children and pets can play safely on the expanse of golden sand. With views over The Solent, the pretty village of Bembridge (4 miles) is popular for its picturesque harbour, delightful beaches and a bustling centre. Outdoor enthusiasts should head to nearby National Trust St Helens Duver (2 miles), a sandy spit rich in wildlife and local history. For a traditional seaside day out, Ryde (3 miles) beckons with its long seafront and bustling town centre. The Mermaid Bar (0.6 miles) offers a taste of the Islands' locally distilled gin.

Before stepping into this welcoming holiday home, take a moment to appreciate its exterior where a stone facade is surrounded by a peaceful garden. Head inside, kick off sandy shoes, and be greeted by a sleek country-style kitchen which boasts everything needed – including sea glimpses – for cooking up holiday feasts. Enjoy the chef’s work at the dining table in the light of the window or alfresco-style out on the patio. After dinner, pour an evening tipple and stroll through to the property’s social heart, the sumptuous lounge, where exposed beams sit above inviting seating arranged around a Smart TV and roaring wood burner – perfect for cosy nights in. On balmy days, swing open the glass doors to the garden and let the fresh island air fill the property. Completing the ground floor is a family shower room, perfect for washing the sand off after days of coastal adventure. At the end of each busy day away, climb the stairs to the first floor and retire to a choice of three restful bedrooms: a master king-size, a double room and a cosy twin, all served by a well-appointed family bathroom.

Outdoor relaxation is made easy thanks to the wraparound, lawned garden that envelopes the home. Step through the French doors from the lounge and find a furnished patio perfect for peaceful morning brews and al fresco evening meals using the charcoal BBQ. Children will love playing on the lawn, while adults will appreciate the private parking spaces for up to two cars.
