Visit the charming village of Coldingham, only 8 miles away, which boasts plenty of eateries, a historic priory, dating back to the 7th century, and the beautiful Coldingham Bay, a sandy beach popular for surfing, swimming and coastal walks. Discover the pretty coastal village of St Abbs, perfect for wildlife enthusiasts, with the National Nature Reserve offering spectacular cliff-top walks and opportunities to spot seabirds and marine life, just 8.5 miles away. Alternatively, explore the historic fishing town of Eyemouth, 10 miles away, with its natural harbour, smuggling history, and 18-hole Championship golf course.

When you are looking for a quiet little hidden gem in the Scottish Borders area this is the cottage for you and yours! We have truly enjoyed our stay here with its spacious bedrooms, warm welcome packages (incl. for the dog!), well-equiped kitchen and the neverending songs of birds that we'd never even heard of! What a fabulous cottage, truly a home from home. Superbly equipped. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into setting up this cottage and it works well. Small touches that set it apart were the provisions for dogs and the generous welcome pack. Thank you for such a lovely rest.
