We spent Xmas at Rosscairn for a big family gathering of 3 generations (18 people) and the house was perfect for our needs. The owner made huge efforts decorating the whole of the downstairs which made it special and was much appreciated. The kitchen is quite small (but a range cooker with 5 rings and 2 ovens, plus an electric on counter oven). It Read moreworks well with a second utility room where there are 2 dishwashers and 3 additional fridge/freezers. The dining room was very spacious but still felt cosy when full of people! 3 sitting rooms make for a comfortable place for groups with different needs. It is a fairly old property with what you would expect from this, so not super modern, but very good value and we had a wonderful time! Hide

Large house with plenty of room, we had six cars and no problem parking and a wonderful garden at the rear and safe for children. We had a couple of problems during our stay but the owner came out straight away and fixed them. Kitchen a bit small but we managed okay with 16 of us.
