This picture-perfect semi detached cottage is in a joyful location, less than 500 metres from the sandy beachfront. Wander half a mile into the centre of Brodick for a host of things to do, including a luxury spa and a golf club. The village boasts plenty of quality restaurants, waterfront pubs and bars and charming tea rooms, as well as convenience stores for stocking up and cooking at home. Visit the 19th-century Brodick Castle and its beautiful gardens just 1.5 miles away or head up the road for a local heritage museum. Those looking for more of an adventure, hike Goatfell, 4.5 miles away, or travel 8 miles across the island to see the Machrie Standing Stones.

Enter the property via the patio to the rear and head straight into the open-plan living space. This homely lounge has been decorated to a high standard, and every inch of the space is utilised well. A superb place to stay. The owners are so welcoming and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The accommodation is beautiful, a perfect retreat for two with lovely views, in an excellent location and with everything provided for a self catering holiday. The outside area is a peaceful place to relax and the garden is a delight.

We would strongly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a home from home. There is everything in the property you would need and more. Inside and outside is beautiful. Anne and John are amazing hosts they also have great knowledge of the surrounding areas in Arran. Their property is set in Brodick and the views are amazing. The golf Read morecourse, sea and the beach are a hop skip and a jump from their house as you can see them from your bedroom window Bliss!!! Hide

What a delightful place to stay at on Arran. A lovely welcome from Anne and John instantly made us feel at home. A generous welcome basket was a real treat. The accommodation is perfect for two people, with everything you need. It was warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. It's in an ideal spot , 10 minutes walk into Brodick, where there are plenty of shRead moreops and restaurants. If we return to this wonderful island we wouldn't hesitate in booking St Minver again. Hosts were friendly and attentive. Accommodation had everything you need and the welcome pack was an added bonus. The location was perfect and within walking distance of all amenities. Beautiful views of Brodick bay and Goat Fell. We would highly recommend the property.

St Minver had everything you could want. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Nothing was too much trouble for Anne & John who own the cottage. We can't wait to come back.

Wonderful location on the very edge of Brodick with a lovely view. Great base for exploring with walks right from the gate, so you can leave the car alone for a day or two. Bus stops are also just outside the property in either direction. Friendly hosts and a lovely welcome pack in a small, but well formed residence that covers what you need for a Read morevisit to the island. If you want to book do it quickly, as it books up fast, and whatever you take with you, remember to pack the midge repellent Hide
