This cottage is perfectly situated for touring the northern parts of Scotland. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. It is on farm property but we were not disturbed in the slightest. A great welcome gift was provided on our arrival and all kitchen utensils are provided. Plenty of space for a family to relax and enjoy. It was a real joy toRead more return for a second visit, and hope to return again soon. Bow Fiddle Rock, Brodie Countryfare, Beauly, and the Deans Shortbread factory shop were all within easy reach by car. All in all, a quiet, spacious and well equipped cottage. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the local pheasants and typhoon jets. Hide

The cottage is in a very peaceful and pleasant location, close to Elgin. The house is large and very warm. The owners left us some lovely goodies for our arrival, more than is usual and a welcoming letter - all nice touches. Although the bathroom is a little dated, the shower works very well. This cottage serves as a fantastic homely base for exploring the beautiful surrounding coast and countryside. Relaxing in the midst of acres and acres of peaceful farmland, and the kitchen was very well equipped to enjoy hearty meals. The hosts have lovely attention to detail and we felt at home as soon as we walked in.

Quiet old farmhouse with plenty of space and an enclosed garden for dogs. Plenty of parking. Trees and birdlife to watch on feeders from indoors. Beds are comfy and the shower is very powerful. Cooker and kitchen fine. The spring water is excellent, not like the second-hand mains water at home, makes a great cuppa tea. Really enjoyed our stay. Great location, loved the welcome pack, the cottage is characterful and secluded enough, back from the A96 far enough to reduce almost all of the traffic noise. Well equipped with all you'd need in the kitchen etc, comfy beds and very clean.
