A stylish retreat in scenic North Cornwall, this ground-floor apartment enjoys an enviable position in the peaceful village of Crantock. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom escape captures fabulous, far-reaching coastal views. Stroll just 500 metres to the wide golden beach where you can swim, snorkel and head out into the waves with your surfboard. Pick up the picturesque South West Coast Path here, then stride out in either direction, keeping your eyes open for seals as you go. Venture 4.5 miles along the long-distance footpath to vibrant Newquay, carefully crossing the Gannel Estuary on foot when the tide is out. Drive 3.5 miles into Newquay to potter in the shops, dine out and spend time on its beautiful beaches. Fistral Beach, widely considered to be the UK’s leading surfing destination, is 4.5 miles from the apartment. Perranporth, with its tidal pool and pub on the sand, is 6 miles away.

Make your way into this chic apartment from the shared foyer inside the modern building. Let yourselves into your private quarters to find immaculate, airy accommodation that has been carefully designed to ensure you have everything you need throughout your stay. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner will be at the heart of all your home-based activities during your break. Prepare the freshly landed seafood you have sourced in Newquay over in the well-equipped kitchen or gently warm the Cornish pasties you have bought in a local bakery, then dine at the table either inside or out. Relax on the soft seating to lose yourselves in the panoramic views through the floor-to-ceiling windows or slide open the patio doors so you can step out onto the balcony. Find your favourite show on the Smart TV or make exciting plans for the following day before heading off to bed. Your two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, are both accessed from the hall. The inviting king-size has a wardrobe, Smart TV and en-suite shower room. The twin, which can be made up as a super-king by advanced agreement, also has a Smart TV. There is a family bathroom where guests can choose between a bath and a shower.

Dine out on the glass-fronted balcony or sip an iced gin and tonic as the sun sets over the sea. Stroll around the shared garden, where you can relax on the wooden seating to further savour the views. There is dedicated parking here for one car.

Our apartment was truly amazing! The owner had clearly thought about everything very carefully. The beds were amazing and facilities the same. It was much appreciated by us. The location was absolutely ideal for the beach. The view was stunning!! My only comment Would be that it is not ideal for people with reactive or guarding dog breeds Read moredue to the closeness of some doors, shared garden and visiting caretakers. But overall the apartment is an amazing place to stay. Hide

The view from the balcony, which was a lovely size, was great. I had lived in Crantock for many years so knew what to expect. A most welcome break and will return again.
