This scenic spot is just over 3 miles from the bustling centre of Weymouth, home to a busy harbour and a golden beach dotted with colourful deckchairs. Built by the Victorians to protect Portland Harbour, guests can uncover hundreds of years of history at Nothe Fort (5 miles), which offers breathtaking views out towards the Isle of Portland and across Weymouth Bay. Lack of cupboard space in kitchen for food in self catering property. Most cupboards filled with owners gear. Bed very comfortable, garden good size for dogs. As soon as oven or hob used, Smolensk alarm sounds continuously
