Cosy and serene, this tucked-away gem is perfect for solo travellers, couples, friends or small families, accommodating up to three adults or two adults and one or two children. Newly built in 2024, it’s located in the village of Daviot, surrounded by glorious countryside. Hop in the car and you’ll find shops, places to eat and a variety of cultural attractions in Inverness, 6 miles, including beautiful botanic gardens and an excellent museum and art gallery. You’ll also have easy access to the stunning North Coast 500 driving route, which takes you from Inverness along the coastal edges of the North Highlands. Don’t miss a trip to the battlefield at Culloden, 3 miles, Inverness Castle, 6.5 miles and – of course – the iconic Loch Ness, 13 miles, for your chance to spot the famous ‘monster’. Boat cruises of the lake start from Drumnadrochit, taking in the magnificent ruins of Urquhart Castle.

This beautiful two-storey property is full of light and has plenty of modern comforts to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The open-plan living space, with pristine, pale walls and a wooden floor, includes a high-quality kitchen with plenty of storage and a microwave for convenience, and a breakfast bar where you can enjoy your meals. There’s ample storage, and also a dressing table/work space.

We were really disappointed as there was no freezer either separate or in the fridge compartment and no washing machine as advertised the hoover needed charging there was no instructions for any of the appliances or heating and as above equipment
