Notable for being one of Norfolk’s highest villages, Docking is home to an ancient church alongside all the modern-day essentials, including a pub, children’s play park, village store and fish bar. The surrounding countryside is a delight for walkers, with the Peddars Way running west of the village as it heads to Holme-next-the-Sea and joins the Norfolk Coast Path. History buffs can visit three great country houses within 11 miles: Sandringham, Houghton and Holkham, while for those who enjoy bird-watching, the RSPB Titchwell Marsh reserve (5.5 miles) is a must-see. If celebrity-spotting and boutique shopping are more to your taste, upscale Burnham Market is 6 miles away. Really lovely property in a terrific area for exploring North and West Norfolk. Central to get to the coastline within a few minutes either way, as well as so many good pubs, farm shops and eateries within a short distance. It is very peaceful, and the garden catches the morning and evening sun. Spotlessly clean, and very comfortable beds with goodRead more quality bedding and towels. Lovely property. A very high standard of accommodation. Bed's comfortable and kitchen very well equipped. It felt like home away from home for us. Ideally located for exploring Norfolk. The information provided by the owner was most helpful and we visited recommended area's and restaurants.

Super cottage everything provided for a weeks stay very clean and comfortable and a great location for sightseeing that area of Norfolk
