Sleeping six guests, the two-bedroom apartment is set on a working farm at Whitwell, 6 miles from Ventnor and 8.5 miles from Newport. The farm itself offers activities, including meet the animals sessions, play areas and fishing lakes. Ventnor, with its elegant promenade and famous botanic garden, is known for its vintage shops and boutiques, making it a popular shopping destination. Spend time on the beach here, where you can swim, or head to quieter Castle Haven, or Shepherd’s Chine, 8 miles away, to stroll or paddle. Keen walkers might like to follow a stretch of the 70-mile-long Isle of Wight Coast Path. Those with children may wish to take them to the country’s oldest theme park at Blackgang Chine, 4.5 miles away.

Return from fun days out to family attractions and afternoons whiled away on sandy beaches to step into the apartment via the hall. Turn left to find yourselves in a welcoming, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can spend quality time together during your stay. Make a cup of tea and settle down on the comfortable seating to watch TV. Read your books, play a game and chat through your plans for the following day.
