The immediate area is a haven for wildlife, and walkers can enjoy some picturesque strolls direct from the property. Alternatively, just a short drive away, Bodmin Moor, the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor National Park are waiting to be explored. If you enjoy the sea, head north and visit Bude, pretty Clovelly, spectacular Hartland Point, or south and explore an array of scenic coves and picturesque fishing villages such as Mevagissey, Looe and Polperro on the Cornish side, and the beautiful South Hams. Other attractions accessible from here include Launceston, a bustling market town with original Norman castle, the picturesque cathedral cities of Exeter and Truro, The Eden Project, Tamar Otter Park, the Camel Trail and numerous National Trust properties.

Stepping into the property, you will immediately find all of the accommodation is conveniently arranged on one level making this a great option for all ages. The first area is the useful hallway and located directly off this there is a spacious shower room with WC. From here the property opens up and you find yourself in the fabulously light yet beautifully cosy open-plan living space with lounge, kitchen and dining area. This offers a wood burner effect electric fire, Smart TV and is the perfect place to relax after a day exploring. The kitchen itself is also well-equipped and boasts an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, wine fridge and dishwasher. The rest of the accommodation is made up of the lovely bedrooms. The first a king-size zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a twin on request) with a TV and the second is a king-size bedroom with TV.

Outside of the property and to the front there is a lovely enclosed garden with lawn, gravelled patio area, garden furniture, hot tub and a charcoal BBQ, exclusively for the use of Journey's End. You can relax in the hot tub on a warm evening with a glass of bubbly in hand. Further to this, you will also benefit from use of a shared large enclosed dog walking paddock with stream (please kindly take care with children and pets), swing seat and stunning countryside views.

Louise and Greg were fantastic. They run a tight ship and everything is clean and in the correct place. It was my Son's birthday in a few days and they both went out of their way to get him a card. Never had that with any other owners. Thank you both. I highly recommend them.

Truly amazing holiday in the cottage. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful setting and so peaceful. Made to feel extremely welcome by Greg & Lou and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend and would 100% go back.

We arrived at the cottage on Saturday 18th April, the cottage had everything you could wish for including flowers, a bottle of wine and a pint of milk. We took advantage of the meals on offer cooked by Louise alll were very delicious and at a reasonable cost. Breakfast croissants were delivered freshly cooked and once again delicious. We would hRead moreighly recommend this cottage for a quiet relaxing break or holiday, the hot tub was an added luxury which we thoroughly enjoyed after returning from days out. There is plenty of room for up to 4 adults with 2 double bedrooms and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Had the most wonderful time away. Stayed for a week, when arrived Louise and Gregg were so welcoming. Showed me round cottage and how to use everything. Settled in very quickly, nothing was too much trouble even last minute arrivals fresh bedding was available. Blu (the dog) loved the enclosed garden and the dog field available. Being British, I really tried to find something to moan about....No couldn't find a thing. From opening the front door at the beginning of the week to closing it at the end of the week. The only word I can use is EXCELLENCE. From the complentary cake,bottle of wine and even something special for our dog. The cottage is wonderful homely,spotless Read moreand has everything you could need and more. The garden is secure and big enough to exercise the dog. The hot tub was just what we needed after a long days walking. The nearest shops are ten minutes away,and all places of interest are about 30 minutes away. Just wow! We've just come back from a week stay, and it was just all so perfect and relaxing. Louise and Gregg make you feel so welcome to their cottage, and cannot do enough for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay in Journeys End Cottage. The location is so peaceful and provided the perfect place to relax and we loved the hot tub too! There were some great places to visit on Lous recommendation and favourites included the coastal walk from Polperro to Looe and a day spent in Fowey. Really we couldn't fault Journey's End. The cottage is beautiful, very well equipped and the beds so comfy. The shower was great. We loved the hot tub and our little dog was made to feel very welcome. Lou and Greg are prefect hosts and the food Lou cooks is amazing - you really must try one meal. A fantastic break and Lou & Greg were wonderful hosts. Cottage was spotlessly clean with lots of homely touches. Our dog was made very welcome - treat on arrival and a dog field a minute walk away plus a warm dog shower. Hot tub was perfect and we used it every day.
