Enjoying a convenient position close to the harbour, this delightful three-storey cottage makes a fantastic retreat for families and friends seeking a spacious hideaway along the tranquil coast of North Norfolk. The property lies in an ideal location for exploring Wells-next-the-Sea, just a few metres from the Quay, a popular spot for crabbing, featuring some fantastic fish and chip shops and the sculpture of the Lifeboat Horse. Wells is also home to a long, sandy beach lined with colourful huts. From the harbour you can take boat trips to explore the salt marshes or watch the grey seal colony at nearby Blakeney Point. Just to the west, the magnificent Holkham Hall and Estate (2.5 miles) occupies over 25,000, acres and is home to a stunning 18th-century manor house, a walled garden and a gorgeous beach. Heading inland, Houghton Hall, Creake Abbey and Baconsthorpe Castle are all within 17 miles.

A step leads up into the cottage, where you will find the spacious and appealing lounge. This relaxing room features ample seating, a TV, stylish floor tiling and a wood burner set in an impressive brick surround. The first floor also offers two fresh, airy and warmly decorated bedrooms: a cheery twin and a lovely king-size south-facing room with a TV and a brick feature fireplace. A steep cottage-style staircase then leads up to the beautifully updated loft room on the second floor, which has been thoughtfully converted, into a bright and cosy twin bedroom with a handy en-suite bathroom. Please note this room has restricted headroom.

Heading outside, a step leads down into an enclosed and relaxing south-facing courtyard with ample outdoor furniture, offering a relaxing spot for dining alfresco, or for a quiet drink in the evening. We had a wonderful stay! The location is unbeatable! The living areas are cosier than the photos suggested, we stayed as a family of 4 with a dog and it was a bit snug but saying that we would def return and would recommend as a coastal staycation! Thank you - memories were made.
