Escape with a group of friends or family members to this superb holiday home in one of Cornwall’s bustling port towns. Porthleven boasts a picturesque harbour and a wide variety of restaurants and cafes to enjoy, all within 300 metres of the property. Beyond the harbour is the town’s beach, a stunning stretch of sand that reaches up to Looe Bar in Cornwall’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spend a day soaking up the sun, building sandcastles with the kids, or try out surfing. Just 0.5 miles away is the National Trust’s Penrose, a beautiful area comprising of a lake, woodland and coast, with lots of walking and cycling routes to enjoy. Pack up a picnic and spend the day exploring. For another fabulous family day out, head to Flambards Theme Park (3 miles), great for kids of all ages.

Enter this superb home through a spacious hallway before heading into the open-plan kitchen/diner, where there’s a charming farmhouse-style dining table seating six. The dining area doubles up as a living space with comfortable chairs and a TV as well as a sideboard full of games, toys, and jigsaws available for guests to use. The main living room is bright and airy, with large sofas and a wood burner. Spend an evening warming up while watching your favourite shows on the TV. A downstairs cloakroom with WC completes the ground floor. Heading upstairs, you will find the three bedrooms. The master has a king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bedroom has a double bed and a lovely bay window with seating, perfect for watching the boats come and go from the harbour below. Bedroom three is a spacious and airy twin room, as well as a separate family bathroom.

Outside to the rear of the home is a lovely, enclosed garden. There is a large lawn, great for a kickabout, and a patio area with a brick-built BBQ and plenty of seating. A handy outdoor shower area is provided, great for cleaning off sandy feet or rinsing down the dogs. Guests will also have access to storage for bikes, surfboards, or paddleboards.

Lovely house lots of room in a great location near to harbour, pubs, restaurants etc. A good enclosed garden for the dog.
