Riversley is a bright, spacious, beautiful house with wonderful views of Bakewell, and only minutes from the centre of the village. Our three generation family group had a wonderful week here, really enjoying its comfort and facilities.

The property was easily located and the provided instructions were very helpful. The location is within 5 minutes of the town centre. The hill could be a bit of a challenge if you are not the most mobile. On setting eyes on Riversley we were immediately impressed. A majestic property in a fantastic location overlooking the town. We arrived on a coRead moreld wet day and opening the door to a warm and inviting house was greatly appreciated. The house is absolutely stunning. All the rooms are huge and well decorated. The kitchen is exceptional and equipped to the highest standard, a read of the provided instruction manuals is a must. The beds were comfy and the bedding plenty warm enough, electric blankets also provided if required. Both shower/bathrooms are stunning, warm and of a very high standard. The bath is high recommended for a soak after a day out in the peaks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Due to a week of inclement weather we spent a little more time than expected in the house but we felt comfortable, relaxed and very much at home. A wonderful property which we'd love to visit again. The house is in a great location, all the rooms have super views of Bakewell and surrounding countryside. Its about 5-10 minute maximum walk into the centre, albeit downhill. Might be slightly less steep through the churchyard. The house is comfortable and spacious. The updated kitchen and bathrooms are super. The downstairs shower room was a bonusRead more as it allowed five adults to get ready easily. We certainly enjoyed our stay and I wouldnt hesitate to rebook. Hide
