This beautiful stone farmhouse set in glorious farmland in Eryri National Park, surrounded by rolling countryside and towering mountains, is the ultimate peaceful retreat for anyone keen to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With the farm’s boundary running along the summits of Aran Fawddwy and Aran Benllyn, the highest peaks in Southern Eryri, this secluded spot is perfect for keen walkers and hikers. Stargazers will be delighted with minimal light pollution at this scenic spot. The market town of Bala is just 9 miles away, and offers a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy. Discover Bala Lake 5 miles away, the largest natural body of water in Wales, and try out various water sports such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white-water rafting, or spot the unique Gwyniad fish, a relic of the Ice Age.

Beneath the stunning stone exterior, you’ll discover a haven of contemporary country cottage charm within this enchanting rural retreat; underfloor heating throughout simply enhances the cottage’s warmth. The cottage is entirely off-grid, with its own energy source and natural spring water supply, offering all your creature comforts in this wonderfully secluded location. Drop your walking boots in the welcoming entrance hall before following the warmth of the roaring wood burner into the cosy lounge, which provides plenty of space to relax weary muscles on the plush sofa. Decorated in soft, neutral hues that perfectly complement the majestic colours of your mountain scenery, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a sanctuary of tranquillity. Featuring another wood burner and Smart TV, along with homely touches everywhere you look, the heart of this home-away-from-home provides everything you need to cook up a storm, enjoy meals with loved ones, and simply sit back to admire the stunning views. The handy utility room offers ample storage space. A blissful twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) and a stylish wet room are welcome additions to the ground floor. Two staircases lead to the first floor. Up one staircase, you'll find two peaceful bedrooms, a cosy single and a spacious king-size, along with a gorgeous family bathroom that provides all you need to feel refreshed. Up the other staircase, you’ll find two additional bedrooms, one super-king-size with an extra single bed and one king-size, both boasting contemporary en-suite shower rooms and fabulous views to wake up to.

Embrace breath taking views down the valley and across the surrounding mountains from the comfort of the paved patio, enclosed by feature stone walls. Boasting an outdoor sofa, sun loungers, outdoor dining furniture and a charcoal BBQ, this is the perfect spot for entertaining amongst views of the neighbouring sheep and cattle grazing the land. A wonderful stay. The photos don't do this house justice, everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped, a lovely warm home with plenty of room for the whole family, completely surrounded by the most spectacular views. Heledd was so helpful and accommodating. A truly fantastic trip, thank you!
