Auchinbo offers a wonderful location for a secluded family holiday and has good access both to the hills and estate trails. You’ll find plenty of scenic walks directly from the back door but you are only 12 miles from the local town of Huntly. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Deveron (4 miles) offers some of the best fishing in Scotland; permits can be purchased from FishPal. The property lies within 'Castle country' of Aberdeenshire, the closest being Huntly Castle (6 miles) and Duff House (19.5 miles). Take a tour of GlenDronach Distillery tasting some of their sherry-matured whiskies and don't forget to pick up a bottle of your favourite!
On entering this beautiful home, step into the handy front porch where you will find the utility room with a washing machine and dryer; it is also the perfect place to leave your outdoor boots and shoes. The porch leads into the kitchen with an Aga keeping it cosy. Follow the hall through to the delightful and welcoming lounge with stunning views of the countryside.
