Escape with family or friends to this stylish, contemporary home in the picturesque village of Seaview on the Isle of Wight, well situated for a relaxing coastal getaway. Less than half-a-mile away, the sandy stretches of Seagrove Bay beckon for swimming, paddling, or simply soaking up the sea air, while the quieter Priory Bay, (1 mile), promises a more peaceful beach experience. Nature enthusiasts will love exploring the Alan Hersey Nature Reserve (0.5 miles), where reedbeds and marshes are alive with birdlife. The village itself boasts welcoming pubs and cafes overlooking the water for leisurely lunches or evening drinks. A visit to the historic Seaview Yacht Club adds a touch of timeless seaside charm. For walkers, scenic routes along the coastal path reveal stunning views across the Solent.

Inside, you’ll be greeted by a spacious hallway with a cosy seating area with armchair and coffee table with shoe rack and coat hooks available. A convenient downstairs cloakroom is also located just off the hallway. From here, the bright kitchen beckons, featuring a breakfast bar seating five and bi-fold doors that open down a step into the large, south-facing rear garden – perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. Next, you’ll find the open-plan living and dining area. The newly furnished lounge area includes a large corner sofa, a Smart TV, and a wide selection of family games for evenings in. Folding sliding doors in the dining area frame views of the wild meadow beyond. The dining table seats eight, with additional chairs throughout the house to comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. A door from the living area leads to a second reception room, a welcoming retreat with a sofa, bookshelves, and another Smart TV. On the ground floor, there are two beautifully appointed bedrooms. One boasts a king-size bed with patio doors opening onto the garden, and a newly renovated en-suite with a walk-in shower and underfloor heating. The other has a double bed and a separate sofa bed, also with a sleek en-suite. A striking wood-and-glass staircase leads to the first floor, where a luxurious suite awaits. This king-size bedroom includes armchairs, a modern en-suite with a walk-in shower, and a door opening onto a large balcony with spectacular views over the wild meadow and fields beyond. Stairs from the balcony lead directly down to the rear garden. The first floor also houses two more flexible bedrooms: one can be configured as a king-size or twin room, with a built-in wardrobe and dressing table/desk tucked under a sloping ceiling; the other has twin single beds. A bright, modern family bathroom with bath and overhead shower rounds off the interior.

Outside, the expansive rear garden is a true countryside haven. Mature trees and hedging create a secure space for children, while dining furniture and a large parasol await for al fresco meals for up to twelve guests. A hot-water outdoor shower is ideal for rinsing off after a day at the beach. The hot tub is the icing on the cake for the ultimate indulgence after a long day of exploration. Wildlife lovers will enjoy spotting rabbits, red squirrels, and woodpeckers, and the wild meadow beyond the driveway attracts butterflies, birds, and even buzzards and owls, with grazing horses in the adjacent fields. Ample parking is available on the driveway.
