Tucked away amid the rugged beauty of Glen Lednock, this spacious period cottage offers families and groups of friends a truly characterful base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. The glen is a walker’s paradise, with the Munro Ben Chonzie for the more adventurous, and the shimmering Loch Lednock a picturesque walk away. In the other direction there are peaceful routes winding through woodlands and moorland, leading to the dramatic Deil’s Cauldron Waterfall and on to the Melville Monument, where breathtaking views await. Keep an eye out for red squirrels, deer, and soaring birds of prey along the way. You may even be lucky enough to spot the resident golden eagles, hen harriers, merlin, peregrine and other rare birds. 3 miles away, the picture-postcard village of Comrie provides plenty to discover, from local cafes, restaurants, butcher and independent shops, to attractions such as Comrie Earthquake House, Auchingarrich Wildlife Park, and the historic Cultybraggan POW Camp. Outdoor enthusiasts can tee off at one of the three local golf courses or try mountain biking at Comrie Croft. For water-based adventure, head to Loch Earn (8 miles) for paddleboarding, kayaking, and sailing.

Step through the hallway and boot room, complete with a handy seating area and plenty of storage for outdoor gear. A sleek shower room and a useful utility room with a washing machine add convenience, while the very well-equipped kitchen is a cook's dream, perfect for whipping up hearty feasts after a day in the hills. There’s no shortage of spaces to unwind: choose between the cosy sitting room with a wood burner, piano and Smart TV, or the garden room with its spectacular mountain views, another wood burner, comfortable sofas, and a desk for those inspired to write – plus direct access to the outdoors. For special occasions, the beautiful dining room, with its exposed stone walls, sets the scene for everything from family feasts to romantic dinners. Rounding off the ground floor is a spacious twin bedroom and a large family bathroom. Upstairs, discover two inviting super-king zip-and-link bedrooms, brimming with period character and able to create flexible sleeping arrangements.

The fun continues outside. Directly opposite the cottage, you’ll find a dedicated games room with table tennis, a wood burner, and a seating area with a Smart TV for friendly competitions or laid-back evenings. The fully enclosed two-acre garden is another highlight with abundant wildlife to spot including red squirrels and nuthatches,  multiple seating areas for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the spectacular valley views. The cottage is spotlessly clean and the decor is of a very high standard. You can tell the owners have put a lot of hard work and love into renovating this property and the personal touches they have made make it a home from home. The views all around the property are stunning, sitting outside was so tranquil and peaceful. There are many lovely walks and a visit to the local of Comrie is recommended with their little independent shops where the staff love to talk to you. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed. The cottage is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a stunning location..Marina has thought of everything, there are so many homely touches, and home comforts, it was so sad when we had to leave. The amount of birds in the garden was unbelievable . My family and I would 100% recommend this cottage.
