A stone’s throw from Brockenhurst high street and only a 10 minute walk away from the train station (Waterloo line), this stylish cottage is ideal for those looking for a family-friendly or car-free holiday. The slower pace of life in Brockenhurst is relaxing and it is not uncommon to see ponies and donkeys throughout the village and they even have right of way over traffic. You can reach open forest within ten minutes from the property and there are plenty of walking routes and cycle paths within the New Forest that are perfect for soaking up the fresh countryside air and bike hire is available. A local farm shop is only a five minute drive away from the property and great for picking up some tasty treats and essentials, or if you fancy a glass of wine or a refreshing local ale, head to The Foresters Arms or The Snakecatcher pub in Brockenhurst village.

With modern furnishings and features, you will find a comfortable open plan kitchen/diner area equipped with all the essentials you require for a self-catering holiday. Well designed and spacious, the kitchen area benefits from a granite topped island unit and bar stools for casual breakfasts or enjoy more formal dining around the six seater dining table. The lounge area has a cosy woodburner, sonos music system, 42” Smart HDTV and double doors leading out onto the gardens. Guides to the local area and maps can be found within the living room, perfect for planning your next day trip and there is also a handy cloakroom with WC on the ground floor. Deceptively large cottage, great location in the centre of Brockenhurst with access to the shops and facilities. Very comfortable and well equipped. Great instructions and guides leaving no guess work. The cottage is very nicely laid out and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Really enjoyed staying at this property. It was in a great location within walking distance of all the amenities. Very well equipped with good quality furnishings. Lots of space but still felt cosy, especially with the log burner going. The welcome pack was gratefully received too! Would definitely recommend.

A great location and overall a really comfortable cottage to stay in. Despite being just off the main street in village it was so quiet and peaceful. We were there in one of the recent heatwaves and the downstairs areas were lovely and cool and the grandchildren loved the easy access to the garden. So handy to just nip to the local shops and the adRead moreded bonus of meeting the local donkeys and ponies was a pleasure. Lovely holiday cottage/home, lots of space with a well kept garden great for children to play in. Location is excellent, Tesco and lovely Brock cafe a minute walk away. 10 minutes walk up the high street and you are in the New Forest although you can see the ponies in the car park opposite the property. Lots of pubs and restaurants nearby and greatRead more places to visit within 10 miles such as Beaulieu and Furzy gardens highly recommended. Great place to stay and hopefully will be back again. Excellent property right in the heart of Brockenhurst. The toy area and wendy house are perfect for kids. The owner is lovely and was very accommodating when we had an unexpected change to our travel plans.

The cottage was in a fantastic location and in an exemplary condition. It was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed staying there very much. The holiday book was very informative and provided lots of helpful information for us especially as we had travelled from Scotland and were unfamiliar with the area.

We spent a lovely week at the cottage in July and have now booked for 2 weeks next year. We loved the lounge area facing the garden. Very roomy, bright and airy. The village of Brockenhurst is beautiful with plenty of eateries and well placed to enjoy all that the New Forest and further offers.
