The photos didn't do the property justice. It was literally amazing. We were a family of 6: 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 children and all agreed the house was literally amazing. Spacious rooms, facilties were top notch, there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't provided. We even cooked a full roast dinner. Would definitely recommend.

This house was a late booking after the original was withdrawn. We were all very pleased as this was the first time both my sisters and I had gone on holiday together in about fifty years.

It is a characterful house with lovely big rooms and high ceilings overlooking the River Coquet. Everything in the house is high-quality - the furnishings, kitchenware, bathrooms etc. Herons can often be seen on the river bank opposite. The house is in a fabulous location - close to the village centre, castle, pubs and wonderful walks. We found Read moreboth of the pubs to be very friendly with a good selection of pub food. Warkworth Castle is impressive - definitely worth a visit. Warkworth beach is only a 25 minute walk away and Amble is about a 35 minute walk. The castles of Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Lindisfarne are all within easy reach, as are many beautiful quiet beaches of the Northumberland coast. Im sure we will be back again. Next time we will probably include playing on a few of the many golf courses along the coast! Hide

From using Coquet Cottages 3 months ago, I was confident I was booking with a trusted agency. Riverside House exceeded expectations. Situated in a peaceful location overlooking the river. The property is spacious, original features retained, yet updated with all the modern conveniences to a high end specification.
