Families and groups who love being outdoors will find plenty to fill their days here. Keen walkers can follow the coastal path directly from the house to Cley's beach (4.5 miles), to take in stretches of shingle and dunes before pausing in a village pub for lunch. Avid birdwatchers must head to the reserves at Salthouse Marshes (5.5 miles), where the hides look out over marshes alive with geese and waders. Blakeney (2 miles) is always a family favorite, with boat trips to the seal colony on Blakeney Point, and Weybourne (7 miles) makes for a bracing beach day with buckets of space to fly kites or skim stones. Charming afternoons of exploration can be found at Holt (7 miles), with its Georgian streets lined with shops, cafés, and galleries that make for easy browsing. For something different, Langham Dome (1 mile) brings history to life with interactive displays.

This stylish coastal retreat feels airy and bright with understated nautical touches that seamlessly bring the beauty of its surroundings indoors. Slip off sandy shoes in the entrance hall before entering the kitchen to start whipping up a seafood feast. This well-equipped space offers everything needed to make cooking a breeze, including an AGA for keeping food toasty. Head through to the dining area to eat and catch up on the day's events before popping on washing in the handy utility. Along the hall sits a cosy snug with sofas for youngsters to relax. Continuing on this floor is a calming double bedroom, serviced by a large bathroom which features a bath, shower and WC. On the first floor, the home's clever upside-down design frames sweeping views of the windmill, marshes, and coastline. This ever-changing panorama can be savored from dawn to dusk while you're slumped on the sofa, enjoying your favorite TV boxsets. A delightful king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room finishes this floor. Go up again to the second floor and discover two more bedrooms: a serene twin bedroom and an elegant king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

The outside space is stunning. Its built-in BBQ is set for sunny evenings of alfresco dining with glorious views of Cley's iconic windmill. There are also plenty of places to sit and enjoy the vistas. The home benefits from on-street parking (first come, first serve), or there is a public car park 200 meters away.
