A welcoming retreat within the vibrant town of Fowey, this enticing apartment makes a great base for exploring picturesque Cornwall. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom hideaway sits within an attractive country house, with a spectrum of shops, restaurants and pubs within 1 mile. Stroll less than 1 mile to the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove, where you can swim, picnic and look out across the estuary to Polruan Hill and the castle ruins. Take a steep climb up to St Catherine’s Castle from the cove to enjoy more spectacular views. Pick up the South West Coast Path here or at the end of the garden and walk 3 miles to Polridmouth Cove, with its two unspoiled beaches. Plan a trip to the Eden Project, 5.5 miles away, to explore the various biomes and beautiful gardens. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, 13.5 miles away, is also a must for nature lovers.

Enter the impressive building and climb the stairs to the first floor, where your private quarters are situated. This property is one of six carefully restored apartments set within the former rural residence. With original features, such as high ceilings and sash windows that bring the natural light streaming in, it now also boasts modern touches, including gorgeous, honey-coloured oak floors and comfortable furniture. From the entrance, amble through to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner to unpack the delicious local produce you have bought. Prepare the recently landed Fowey fish or seafood or warm up the freshly baked Cornish pasties you have bought it a bakery. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might possibly need to cater for yourselves during your stay. Uncork a bottle of wine, then dine together at the wooden table. While away your evenings chatting on the soft seating or watching the Smart TV. When you are ready to turn in, head into one of the two king-sizes or the twin bedroom. With ample storage, you will have plenty of space for your belongings, including your holiday clothing. To ensure the convenience of all guests, two of the bedrooms have the luxury of en-suite shower rooms, and there is also an en-suite bathroom.

Stroll around the generous, landscaped gardens to your heart’s content. Wander the different lawned areas, admire the mature plants and bask in the sunshine on a bench with your book. There is shared use of an indoor/outdoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, and a changing room, with a shower and cloakroom. Guests can book a one-hour private slot every day. There is private parking for one car, with additional space subject to availability.

The cottage in a great location, the pool and Sauna are a big plus. However 2nd bedroom had no outside window.
