Close to Monkey World and the famous Tank Museum. On the banks of the River Frome, the bustling market town of Dorchester, 12.5 miles away, offers plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the Dorset Museum and Art Gallery, to explore. Journeying through breath-taking countryside with views to the sea beyond, board the Swanage Heritage Railway to Corfe Castle, 18.5 miles away, to enjoy cliff-top trails along the South West Coast Path and the gloriously golden sands of Swanage Beach (18 miles).

The utility area features a washing machine and handy cloakroom with WC as well as access to the fully enclosed courtyard garden. Follow the warmth of the roaring wood burner back up to the light-filled lounge, which boasts comfy seating and a Smart TV, or retreat to the dining room opposite to plan tomorrow’s adventure, challenge the rest of the party to a board game or relax with a good book, equipped with a generous dining table and feature fireplace. The four bedrooms upstairs, comprising one king-size with a sleek and stylish contemporary ensuite shower room with WC, accessed down a set of two steps. One double room with a double bed, one large bedroom with a single bed and another single bedroom all with storage and provide a haven of tranquillity to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Good location for seeing the rest of Dorset. The cottage is very clean and well decorated.

Fabulous cottage. Lovingly restored to a high standard. Spoitlessly clean and with everything you needed for a weekend. Very thoughtful touches like leaving a pint of .ilk plus tea, coffee and Hot chocolate. Overall a very luxurious place to stay
