A stay at this homely cottage in Conwy promises a mix of heritage, charm, and outdoor adventure for couples or small families. Nestled within the ancient walls of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, the town of Conwy is steeped in history, with the imposing Conwy Castle (0.5 miles) just a short stroll away – you’ll love exploring its towers and ramparts, soaking in the panoramic views over the estuary. Time your visit with one of Conwy’s popular events, such as the Honey Fair or the lively Gwledd Conwy Feast in autumn, which fills the town with music, food, and festive cheer. Alternatively, spend a day on the region’s sandy beaches, perfect for picnics and paddling. When it’s time to explore the great outdoors, the fringes of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park are just half a mile away, offering a gateway to lakeside walks, waterfall footpaths and more challenging trails.

Before you enter this inviting home, take a moment to admire the surrounding views of the historic town walls – a fitting introduction to your accommodation. Inside, the open-plan living and dining area is instantly inviting, showcasing a mix of old and new. A striking antique dresser adds character, while a Smart TV and modern furnishings bring a touch of the contemporary. Sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind as the glow from the wood burner-effect gas fire warms the room. Share meals and stories around the wooden dining table for quality time together. The adjacent kitchen is sleek and modern, with marble worktops and stylish black cabinetry offering both form and function. It’s fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxed, self-catered stay, whether preparing a full meal or a light breakfast before heading out. Upstairs, the master king-size bedroom boasts stunning views over the rooftops and countryside beyond, while a cosy single bedroom is ideal for a child or additional guest. A contemporary shower room completes the first floor, featuring a walk-in rainfall shower for a refreshing start or end to your day. A further staircase takes you to the top floor with a double bedroom.

A very pleasant day in a beautiful little cottage in the centre of the town very accessible for the train station and the shops and restaurants which were plentiful in the town. The only thing was that if you are taking elderly people with you be mindful that in the main double bedroom on the first floor, the step to the toilet I could be quite triRead morecky as they are on an angle otherwise very well equipped beautiful crockery and plenty to see and do in the area Hide
