Celebratory get-togethers are embraced in this exceptional Norfolk retreat, the perfect destination for friends and extended families to gather for birthdays, reunions or any special occasion. Set in the charming village of Foulsham, this picturesque spot is well placed for exploring North Norfolk. The market town of Fakenham (8.5 miles) offers shops and a weekly market, while nearby Pensthorpe Natural Park (7 miles) and Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve (10 miles) are havens for wildlife lovers. Pull on your walking boots for a visit to Thursford Wood (8.5 miles), or head to the coast, just 14 miles away, to discover the Norfolk Coast National Landscape. Visit Blakeney Point or Cley-next-the-Sea (both 13.5 miles) for seal spotting, or venture to Sheringham (16.5 miles) for a classic seaside day out. Staying inland, Norwich (17.5 miles) is also within easy reach, brimming with historic architecture, a magnificent cathedral, and a wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Built from Norfolk’s traditional red brick, this detached property makes a striking first impression with its sweeping gravel driveway and wisteria climbing the facade. Step inside to a large entrance hall that leads into spacious communal rooms and ground-floor bedrooms. The stylish kitchen is fitted with modern appliances to make cooking for 17 a breeze, with a central island and breakfast stools for casual dining. A more formal dining room sits just along the hall, perfect for celebratory feasts. The expansive lounge is comfortably furnished with deep sofas, a Smart TV, and a cosy wood burner for cooler evenings. Three of the six bedrooms are on the ground floor: one with a super-king-size bed and a single bed, another with a super-king-size zip-and-link which can be made up as twin beds on request, and the other has 4 single beds, 2 of which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. A ground-floor shower room completes this level. Upstairs, you’ll find three further bedrooms; the master suite with a super-king-size zip-and-link which can be made up as twin beds if required, along with a luxurious en-suite bathroom featuring a jacuzzi-style bath, a twin room, and another with 4 single beds, 2 of which can be made up as a super-king-size on request. Completing the first floor is the family bathroom.

Step outside to discover even more to enjoy. The large, enclosed garden offers a mix of lawn and patio space, with a covered seating area, outdoor games, a charcoal BBQ and a pizza oven for fun-filled summer evenings. The highlight, however, is the spa room, complete with a 16-person swim spa hot tub and an infrared sauna, all with towels and robes provided for the full spa experience. A wonderful weekend stay in a picturesque, cosy and homely cottage. Hannah and Emma were very friendly, attentive and welcoming hosts - on hand to help with any queries while there. Beautifully decorated outside creating a beautiful Christmas vibe and as it was my birthday, I was pleasantly greeted with a sweet card and gift. The house isRead more uniquely decorated with a warm homely vibe. Clean and tidy, well equipped rooms and spacious kitchen. Suitable for large groups and was drawn by the possibility of multiple single beds for those not comfortable sharing. The large Hot tub with speakers made the trip!! Alongside great and very accommodating hosts who were on hand to help us with any queries along the way. Wonderful home and would come again. Hide
