Enjoying a tranquil rural location with magnificent scenery, this delightful hut has been elegantly furnished to make a charming getaway for two guests. Set in a small field surrounded by mature fruit trees, this characterful hideaway lies on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Molleston, with a footpath offering a bracing circular walk of this magical area. The historic town of Narberth is to the north (1.5 miles), known for its multi-coloured Georgian and Edwardian buildings, with a wealth of independent shops, boutiques, cafes and galleries. Local landmarks and attractions include the remains of Narberth Castle, Carew Castle and Tidal Mill, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, and Clerkenhill Adventure Farm, all within 8 miles. For a day on the beach, head to the charming village of coastal Saundersfoot (7.5 miles) or the thriving seaside resort of Tenby (10.5 miles).
Three steps lead up into this cheerful shepherd’s hut, where you will be greeted by the bright and snug lounge/kitchen/diner/bedroom. This stylishly arranged space has been cleverly organised to make a fantastic bolthole for eager walkers and nature spotters. The lounge space has comfortable seating with a lovely wood burner and a handy dining area. To one side, the kitchen features a sink, undercounter fridge-freezer and countertop induction hob. The double bed is neatly tucked away against the wall and can be easily pulled down over the dining area as night falls, before then being popped away to create a much bigger living space in the morning. The hut also features a refreshing shower room.
Back outside, the steps lead down onto a small, decked area with a bistro set, offering a charming spot for dining alfresco. Just a few metres away across the lawn, a separate decked terrace has further outdoor seating alongside a fire pit and a bubbling wood-fired hot tub for you to luxuriate in as you take in the peaceful country scenery. Private parking for one car is available in a shared car park. Please note that a very quiet public footpath goes past the property, leading to one additional glamping unit and (May to September only) a 3 tent glamping field
