Set in the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park and within easy reach of outdoor activities and pretty towns, this stylish cottage is perfectly positioned for exploring some of Wales’ finest scenery. The centre of Brecon is less than half a mile away and is peppered with artisan coffee shops, Georgian architecture and indie book shops. Speaking of bookshops, the ‘Town of Books’, Hay-on-Wye, is 16 miles away and is a must-see for any storybook devotee. For keen walkers, Pen-y-Crug (1 mile) offers epic views from an Iron Age hillfort, while Cefn Llechid (8 miles) has peaceful trails and wild ponies. Those seeking views at a more leisurely pace may like to experience Brecon Mountain Railway (20 miles). If you’re wishing to drink in mountain views while you putt, then Cradoc Golf Club (2.5 miles) is an epic choice for seasoned golfers.

Slip off walking boots and coats in the spacious hallway before entering the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. A really lovely, well-equipped, modern holiday home, in a great location 10 minutes walk from pubs, restaurants and shops.

Mount View is a lovely property, an easy walk into Brecon town and well located for surrounding countryside. The property is very spacious and well appointed. There was a generous bowl of treats on arrival, which were delicious. Would definitely recommend this property and, of course, it does have a lovely Mount View!

Fantastic modern property with a lovely view of the Beacons to wake up to. Extremely clean with all the amenities. Owners went out of their way to provide a high chair for us.

This holiday home is idyllic. Everything has been so thought out and made our stay so wonderful. Air fryer, dishwasher, games room - what more can you want. It gave us all the opportunity to relax and was perfect for all of 8 of us. Close to shops, restaurants and surrounded by some amazing walks. Plenty of parking, comfortable beds and to top it oRead moreff the most lovely hosts. Do not hesitate to book here, I will definitely be back. Mount View is a recently renovated bungalow within walking distance of Brecon Town. The owners have achieved a wonderful home from home with comfort and high spec fixtures and fittings. The bedding, cutlery and crockery were the best! The single living space with a small utility room was just right for our family stay (of six adults, two children aRead morend two dogs) and with four well appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms everyone was happy. The garage/games room was an added space for fun. The pre stay information was perfect, ensuring a stress free arrival and the welcome treats were very well received.
