Property code: OC-S32971

This delightful cottage sleeping four guests is perfectly placed to explore the delights of vibrant Cromer and the scenic North Norfolk coastline. Ideal for a small family or couples sharing, the property is just over 300 metres from the golden sands of Cromer Beach, with its seaside shops and excellent range of places to eat and drink. Explore the town’s sweeping promenade before you hit the beach, perhaps stopping for fish and chips or to savour an ice cream as you stroll along the Victorian pier. For more seaside bliss, the charming town of Sheringham is just 4.5 miles away and plays host to the popular North Norfolk Railway – board a steam train and follow the Poppy Line for a scenic 5-mile journey to Holt. Other nearby attractions include the Shire Horse Sanctuary and historic Felbrigg House with its pretty, walled gardens (both within 3 miles).

Step into this welcoming holiday home and kick off your sandy shoes in the entrance porch. Uncover the social heart of the home on the ground-floor – the open-plan lounge/diner, with the galley-style kitchen set to one side. Bright and spacious thanks to its tall ceilings, the lounge area beckons relaxation after days of adventure. Here, sink into the soft seating as the Smart TV streams your favourite shows and the wood burner-effect electric fire warms your toes on chillier evenings. When stomachs begin to rumble, head through to the well-appointed kitchen where country styling combines with modern features to offer everything needed for cooking Norfolk feasts together. Dine at the stylish table back in the lounge/diner. When eyes begin to droop, climb the cottage stairs to the first floor and find two restful bedrooms served by a family bathroom with a free standing bath, separate shower cubicle and WC. Choose from a spacious master king-size bedroom and an inviting double room, both of which offer ample storage space and Victorian-style bed frames.

While there is no outside space at the cottage, guests are positioned close to a number of charming outdoor spaces perfect for morning walks and post-dinner strolls. The verdant North Lodge Parks sits less than 200 metres away, the beach and promenade are 300 metres away, and Warren Wood is 0.5 miles away. Parking is on-street and subject to availability, while Meadow Road Car Park is just half a mile away.

We had a lovely stay in Sunny Cottage, which was in a great location for the town and beach. The property was very comfortable and clean and had a well equipped kitchen. We would book this property again.

We had a fabulous week in this very 'Sunny Cottage'. The welcome park of milk, cookies & crisps was a lovely thought. Everything needed for a self catering property was provided but the location is so near town it was just as easy to eat out or get a takeaway. Comfortable sofas and huge TV with netflix etc. The beds were comfortable and plenty Read moreof storage. The master bedroom gets the sun 1st thing in the morning and there are no black out curtains but I wore an eye mask so it did not impact me too much. There is a beautiful free standing bath and seperate shower cubicle. Unfortunately the shower cubicle is unsuitable for anyone who is on the larger size or who has mobility problems as there is only a narrow gap in the doors and nothing to hold onto to make a big step in and out. (This is not a criticism, just wanted to make potential bookers aware) Location is perfect but as expected parking can be tricky, you may need to park a 5 min walk away on residential streets away from town or in the Meadow Rd car park. All in all a lovely home away from home. Hide

The property is in an excellent position for all amenities and beach.. Bathroom not great for anyone with mobility problems as the shower doors dont stay open so difficult to get out.

Nice property in a good location - quiet road whilst we were there. It was comfortable, well equipped and everything worked. The welcome pack was appreciated. You can easily walk to the beach, shops, pubs, etc. in a few minutes. I'd prefer carpets to rugs, but I suppose that is a personal preference.

Fantastic location right in the heart of beautiful Cromer. Parking wasnt an issue and spaces were available on neighbouring streets. Excellent communication with the hosts before our holiday and when we needed help with WiFi (all solved no problem). Beds were super comfy and kitchen was lovely.
