A holiday in Harpley, a lovely village in West Norfolk, offers a peaceful rural retreat with easy access to many local attractions. Just 2 miles away lies Houghton Hall, an impressive Palladian mansion with stunning gardens and a contemporary art collection. Nature lovers can enjoy a visit to Sandringham Estate, the royal family’s country retreat, only 7 miles from Harpley, offering scenic woodland walks and a museum. For a day by the sea, the Norfolk Coast National Landscape is just 10 miles north, where you can explore the unspoiled beaches of Brancaster or go birdwatching at Titchwell Marsh Nature Reserve. Harpley itself is surrounded by picturesque countryside ideal for walking and cycling, making it a perfect base for a relaxed yet enriching holiday.

We had a great week exploring this lovely area, so much to see and do within a 30 minute drive ( wildlife, beaches, historic houses, castle ruins and market towns). There was a lovely welcome note and goodies on arrival which was appreciated.
