Get the whole gang together at this gorgeous three-storey townhouse in the heart of the seaside town of Barmouth. Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, this is the perfect accommodation choice for large families or groups of friends in search of a stylish retreat to call home while they discover the beautiful Gwynedd coastline together. With its golden sandy beaches, dramatic mountain backdrops and iconic railway bridge stretching across the Mawddach Estuary, Barmouth is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. Spend a happy morning strolling along the promenade or hiking through ancient woodlands, before you set off to spend the afternoon exploring the charming market town of Dolgellau (10 miles), which sits at the foot of Cader Idris. Alternatively, head to Fairbourne (14 miles) to stroll along the sandy beach and take a trip on its heritage railway. The quiet village of Arthog (11.5 miles) has historic churches and estuary trails.

Step inside your period holiday home and make your way to the open-plan lounge/diner area. Take a moment to make yourself at home in this bright and cheery space, which is overflowing with natural light from the large bay window. Make a beeline for the pretty galley-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner, which you can share with your loved ones at the elegant dining table. Afterwards, take a seat by the wood burner-effect electric fire in the lounge area to catch up on your favourite TV shows, or head out to the games garage for a game of pool. At the end of the day, there are four glamorous bedrooms waiting for you – two double bedrooms with sea views, a twin, and a fun bunk room that the kids will adore. Completing the layout, you’ll find a smart family bathroom with a shower over the bath, as well as a handy shower room.

Step outside and you’ll discover a private patio with sun loungers, a charcoal BBQ and plenty of seating. There’s a games room in the garage, which also has storage space for your bikes. On-street parking is available at the front of the property, off-street is parking rare in Barmouth however if you have a small car you can park outside the garage.

Its difficult to say more than if the weather had not been good we would have gone home early. The beds were not kingsize or cofortable. The "Garden! about 10 FT ish, square over a back alley, was of paving slabs, with a rumpled bit od Astro-turf covering some of the area, was sad and we scratched our medium sized car trying to get into the Read moreally/off street paking behind the house . The TV setup was unfathomable possibly due to old batteries in he widgets . Yep it was clean and close to the beach i could go on wih minor niggles, but all in all dissapointing. Hide
