Browse in the shops right here in the village or venture further afield to the market town of Barnstaple, 5.5 miles away, with its many colourful independent stores and eateries. Stroll through the beautiful dunes at Braunton Burrows or pick up the scenic South West Coast Path and hike approximately 6 miles out to Baggy Point. You can also walk or cycle the same distance along the flat, traffic-free Tarka Trail to Barnstaple. Swim, surf and picnic from the spectacular beach at Saunton Sands, just 2.5 miles away. The Burrows was an outstanding property that is perfect for a couple wanting to explore North Devon. Braunton is very central for going North to Woolacombe, Coombe Martin or Ilfracombe or South to visit Appledore or Instow. Saunton and Croydon are practically on the doorstep! Braunton has a large supermarket and plenty of restaurants and bars witRead morehin walking distance. The property itself is extremely well maintained and spotlessly clean. There was a lovely welcome basket with thoughtful treats that was very well received and enjoyed by both myself and my husband. We will definitely visit again. Hide

This bungalow is exceptional and peaceful. Everything was immaculate and everything that you could need for your stay was thought about. The welcome basket was a very lovely personal touch. I would definitely recommend this property as a very welcome place to stay.

Braunton is a lovely area to visit if you enjoy walking in the countryside or on the beaches. Beautiful costal areas around. Good produces in the town and a few quaint shops. The locals were very friendly besides our hosts. Luckily, the sun shone all week.
