History lovers will enjoy the climb to Whitby Abbey (0.5 miles), the dramatic ruin that inspired the novel, Dracula. The majestic North York Moors National Park begins just 2 miles away, offering superb walking and cycling routes. You’re also just 300 metres from the train station for picking up the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to visit charming spots like Grosmont (6.5 miles), Pickering (21 miles) and Malton (28 miles).
