Surrounded by fields and wildlife on the outskirts of the historic market town of Horncastle, find pure peace and tranquillity at this idyllic barn conversion, the ultimate rural retreat for couples and small families of four. The sleepy village of Edlington is set beneath the Wolds, near the River Bain, and offers plenty of winding country lanes to explore on foot or by bike. Known as the 'Gateway to the Wolds', Horncastle, 2.5 miles away, is rich in heritage, featuring the remains of Roman walls and the medieval St Mary’s Church, as well as a fantastic selection of quirky antique and vintage shops. There’s something for the whole family to enjoy at the Wolds Wildlife Park, 3 miles away, whilst Lincoln Castle, 20 miles away, built by William the Conqueror, is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. The beautifully golden sands of several Beaches can be reached within 23 miles.

Featuring all your creature comforts and filled with plenty of natural sunlight, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this home boasts a wonderfully cosy ambience that invites tired travellers to sit back and relax at the end of a busy day’s expedition. Catch up with your favourite programme on the Smart TV or cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen. On a fine evening, throw open the patio doors to the garden to enjoy indoor/outdoor living, making the most of your stunning rolling countryside views. Sharing the same homely atmosphere as the rest of this beautiful bolthole, the two king-size bedrooms offer a delightfully peaceful haven to retire to before kicking off your next adventure with a refreshing shower or relaxing bath in the sophisticated family bathroom.

Enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise or a glass of something chilled at sunset from the comfort of the idyllic outdoor seating area, which boasts not only a BBQ and pizza oven, but plenty of room for dogs and children to explore. Beautiful location. Very well equipped accommodation. Would be nice if garden was enclosed, since this property welcomes dogs.
