This contemporary property with awesome sea views sits in a central location overlooking the beach at Westward Ho!, offering a perfect base to couples or small families planning seaside adventures together. The nearby, family-friendly beach offers 2 miles of soft, golden sand as well as plenty of opportunities for other sports including Golf at the nearby Royal North Devon Links Course, Tennis Courts and horse-riding. The North Devon Surf School is on your doorstep if you fancy learning how to ride the waves. Northam Burrows Country Park sits at the far end of the beach, providing a peaceful, scenic spot perfect for long walks and picnics together – try the cafe if you forget to bring some snacks! Other nearby locations with plenty of charm include the fishing villages of Appledore (2 miles) and pretty Clovelly (12 miles), while the harbour town of Bideford (4 miles) is great for stocking up on supplies or enjoying some food and drink out.

For location you cant beat this apartment it was perfect for my husband who has limited mobility. Having a lift to the second floor made life easier. We were fortunate with sunny weather but on a dull day there would be plenty to watch out of the massive windows. Unfortunately we didnt use the large balcony as it was in the shade and windy on occaRead moresions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the apartment well equipped. Local restaurants and ice creams were a few steps from the front door. Communication from the owner was excellent but Im pleased to say we had no problems to report. I would happily stay again. Hide

The apartment was wonderful and views fabulous from both the lounge, master bedroom and balcony. Great to have underground parking. Plenty of information on places to visit and we used the detailed map to walk to Appledore (approx 4.5 miles) and had a lovely lunch at the coffee cabin and walked back via the road but you can get a bus back. Good resRead moretaurants around we loved the Pier house and Morgans the Thair restaurant. Hide

We cannot fault the cleanliness of this property and the communication from Suzie the owner who was always on hand for any questions throughout our stay. The view from the apartment is fabulous. There are many delicious restaurants within walking distance. We would recommend The Pier House, Morans Thai restaurant, Country Cousins and the fish and cRead morehip shop. Hide

Castaways is a lovely, clean, nicely furnished apartment. Fabulous view, well situated and very easy to live in. Wonderful to have underground parking and a lift. Although the weather was good the balcony gets a bit chilly as north facing, but still a lovely place to sit and watch the surfers. Enjoyed the shortbread, thankyou.

Absolutely stunning in every way. Location, facilities, comfort and views to die for! The weather wasn't great during our stay but honestly did not bother us as we were so comfortable in the apartment.. relaxing with a glass of wine watching the gorgeous waves. Our only disappointment was when the day came for us to leave!

Wow! What a beautiful property- the view is incredible and everything you could possibly want or need for a family holiday is all there- sky tv, surf boards, board games, comfortable beds, even milk and shortbread left for our arrival which after an 8 hour journey was soooo good! The instructions of how to get there, get the key and local attractioRead morens were all perfect too- the location is amazing for the beach, fish and chip shop, arcade and ice cream truck! Truly the most incredible place we have stayed in as a family- thank you! Hide
