You’ll also find a mainline train station here. The family-friendly Longleat Safari Park and the ancient Stonehenge can both be reached within 17 miles. With the beautiful, ancient city of Salisbury and its striking cathedral only 13 miles away. The Cranborne Chase area is home to several popular golf courses or visit ever-popular Stourhead, in the care of the National Trust, where you’ll find fabulous walks and viewpoints, alongside the beautifully restored Palladian House.
Hang your jackets and kick off your walking shoes in the spacious hallway, before heading into the light-filled, dual-aspect lounge to relax in front of the gas fire. There are delightful views across the garden through the lovely set of French doors. The country style kitchen provides everything you need to rustle up hearty breakfasts and delicious dinners with your tasty local fare, while the cosy dining room overlooking the garden is the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee.
