A stay on a working farm in the pretty village of Holcombe is a fantastic way for friends, families, and their four-legged companions to enjoy a classic Devon coastal escape. With sheep grazing in the fields, chickens clucking in the yard, and lambs in springtime, there’s something delightfully wholesome about life on the farm. A footpath and byway run along the farm’s boundary for daily dog walks with countryside views and fresh sea air. A 600 metre downhill walk away, you’ll find a dog-friendly beach where the whole pack can play a game of fetch on the sand and refuel at the wonderful, pet-oriented Salty Dog kiosk. The village of Holcombe is postcard-pretty, with thatched cottages and The Castle pub 200 metres from your doorstep for relaxed evening meals or a drink after a day of exploring. There is also The Smugglers Inn, half a mile away, well known for its Carvery and gluten free options. You're also well placed between the lively seaside towns of Dawlish and Teignmouth, both 1.5 miles away. These traditional resorts are full of fun, with sandy beaches, amusements and ice cream stalls. Dogs allowed year round on Holcombe Beach and the nearby Haldon Hills have miles of tracks for walking. There is also the pretty village of Shaldon with is mini-zoo and the famous Tunnel Beach along with some great pubs.

Enter into a spacious entrance hall with direct access to the enclosed rear garden – ideal for stretching legs after your journey. The light-filled lounge offers a warm welcome, with plenty of space to unwind after days out exploring. Continue down two steps to the generous kitchen/diner, well-equipped for self-catering and designed for gathering everyone together over leisurely meals or lively board games. Upstairs, you’ll find three bright and breezy bedrooms all with distant sea views – a king-size, a double and a twin – for restful nights in this quiet location. A family bathroom completes the interior, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Outside, steps lead up to the fully enclosed garden, where little ones and four-legged friends can play safely while you soak up the views over the surrounding fields. Whether you're savouring a morning coffee or cooking up a storm on the gas BBQ, it's the perfect place to take in the fresh country air. Ample private parking is provided.
