From the property, you have direct access to the River Usk footpath, an easy route for scenic strolls. You can also walk just 0.5 miles to the Brecon Canal Basin to begin a long-distance walk along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal path. Both the river and canal routes feature in the impressive Usk Valley Walk, a 48-mile trail that winds through the Vale of Usk, showcasing some of the most beautiful woodlands, country lanes and villages in South Wales.

Step inside, leave coats and shoes in the hallway, and head into the lounge, where comfortable seating is arranged around a Smart TV. The back door from the kitchen/diner gives direct access down a few steps to a decking area that allows dining al fresco, when the weather permits, or down more steps to a small, enclosed garden. Back upstairs, and then up again, you’ll find the master bedroom on the first floor. This serene double bedroom is wonderfully comfortable and offers lovely views of the River Usk, Christ College and the mountains in the distance perfect to wake up to each morning. The shared family bathroom is also on this floor, complete with a shower over the bath to give you two options for relaxing. One more flight up leads to the second bedroom, tucked under the eaves. From the lounge, throw open the french doors and step out onto the balcony, where you can enjoy commanding views over the town, the River Usk, and the historic Christ College buildings, as well as down into the garden below. The garden, accessible from the kitchen, is a pretty, tree-lined space featuring an elevated decked area with garden furniture, inviting you to sit and unwind outdoors. A gate at the bottom of the garden leads directly onto the river footpath. Additionally, a private parking space near by (approx 20 metres) is available for one car is provided.
