Located in the Norfolk Coast National Landscape the sleepy village of Sedgeford offers the very best of countryside living and an excellent base for exploring the delights of North Norfolk’s coastline. Coast-lovers will be spoilt for choice with stripey cliffs, rolling dunes, sand and shingle, salt and clay marshes, and harbours to explore; the Victorian charm of Hunstanton and natural beauty of Heacham can both be reached within 5 miles.

At the end of a busy day’s expedition, head through the charming cottage-style door into the delightful kitchen/diner decorated in contemporary farmhouse style that reflects the rich history of the cottage. Steps on the right of the kitchen/diner lead down to the stylish family bathroom, which provides everything needed to feel refreshed from sunrise to sunset. To the left of the kitchen/diner, the cosy lounge is filled with rustic touches like flagstone flooring, ceiling beams, and exposed brickwork reminiscent of days gone by. During cooler months, light the roaring feature wood burner to keep toes warm long into the evening. Sharing the same charm and character as the ground floor, the super king-size bedroom, double bedroom, and bunk bedroom on the first floor offer a tranquil retreat for a peaceful rest.

The stunning, enclosed front garden features a lawn, patio area, and charcoal BBQ, making it an ideal spot to relax and enjoy your peaceful village surroundings, whether you’re dining alfresco or soaking up some sunshine. On-street parking in front of the cottage.

This cottage is a home from home with lovely welcoming hosts next door who give you your privacy. The welcome pack was the most generous we have ever received. Lots of condiments so no need to take your own salt and pepper etc. which is what we usually have to go and buy along with washing up liquid but it's all there. The King William Pub is just a 10 minute walk away and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this cottage. Hide

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful and very homely cottage. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, and some additional touches that made it even more special. The welcome pack was perfect and very welcome after the journey. The cottage is very cosy and warm, with a fabulous sun trap garden perfect for a quiet morning cuppa as it Read moreis so peaceful. The beds were very comfy, and a great nights sleep was had after busy days exploring. The location was perfect for exploring the north coast and the beaches, and we had a lovely evening meal in the village hotel. Whilst the cottage is located out of the village, the road is not busy or fast and the area is very quiet, except for the odd pheasant! We enjoyed evenings in playing games from the cupboard and watching movies. WiFi reception was also great, and worked well keeping the teenagers happy. All in all, a very nice find. Hide
